Google Chrome users report version 55 not supporting SHOUTcast V1 streams

Reports of Google Chrome users being unable to connect to SHOUTcast Version 1 streams have surfaced from the Broadcasting World Forums and Google Chrome Help Forum today.

The reports have risen with the release of Chrome Version 55 this week as it appears that the most recent updates have rendered SHOUTcast Version 1 streams inaccessible.

Broadcasting World has reached to the Chrome dev team for further comment.
