Loudcity in closed negotiations to continue operating

By James Davey | Posted February 13, 2014 in licensing and legal issues

Loudcity announced several weeks ago that it would be shutting it's doors for the final time. This led to widespread panic for thousands of licensed stations under Loudcity's business to find an alternative. StreamLicensing's owner, Marvin has been flooded with new customers and welcomes the move.

But this afternoon, Loudcity's front page was not the same shutdown message as before, it changed to...

"Hello Broadcasters, LoudCity is currently undergoing negotiations with an interested party in an effort to continue operations. We shall keep you posted!"

It is unclear who the interested party is, and whether or not this will keep Loudcity afloat.

More details to come. Stay tuned to Broadcasting World.
