LAME encoder not included in package for MP3 files, some effects not as user friendly as competitors products.

Audacity is THE free audio editing software to use. Whenever i am on location and a computer does not have audio editing software installed, i always install audacity as it is simple to delete afterwards. My major pain is that the LAME encoder is not included in the package, this may be due to licensing restrictions though. Overall, Audacity is solid and efficient in editing audio.
